HIKE | COOKSTOVE TRAIL | SEDONA, AZ
Cookstove Trail is a 1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Sedona, Arizona that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from April until November. It is a less-traveled short jaunt up a gorgeous, but steep trail with sick views down Oak Creek Canyon looking towards Sedona offering a rare solitude in this area.

This easily accessible body of water is located on the outskirts of Mesa, in the southeast valley, with direct access from Tempe, Phoenix, Chandler, Scottsdale, Fountain Hills and the surrounding areas. Saguaro lake has 22 fun-filled miles of scenic shoreline, and is a favorite to paddle at sunrise, during the day, or at sunset when the colors on the canyon’s walls become brilliant and golden. This lake is most certainly wonderful to enjoy year round, with cooler temperatures around December, and of course, during summertime, it can be a wonderful place to cool off and have a relaxing day with family or friends.

The Peralta Trail runs 6.2 miles along the southwest side of the Superstition Wilderness. It passes through two diversely vegetated canyons capped by Weavers Needle, an iconic 4553' spire that towers over the landscape.
